Earlier this month, Elizabeth and her Ensemble ACJW colleagues returned to Germany's illustrious Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in a Carnegie Hall-sponsored residency. It was another richly satisfying artistic partnership with the outstanding British violinist Daniel Hope and the FMV. Elizabeth and her colleagues appeared on the festival's stages in Heiligendamm, Schwerin, and Greiswald in performances of chamber music masterworks, including: La Revue de Cuisine by Bohuslav Martinů; Vox Balaenae by George Crumb;the Dumky Trio by Antonin Dvořák; the Trio for Oboe, Bassoon, and Piano by Francis Poulenc; and, alongside Daniel Hope, Contrasts by Béla Bartók. What a fulfilling and fantastisch start to the summer!
